willkürlicher Zeilenumbruch auf mobile-Gerät

Bei einer Seite von mir erfolgt der Zeilenumbruch am Smartphone total fehlerhaft, kurioserweise aber nur manchmal.

Also die Wörter ragen oft über den Rand hinaus. Statt "Anwendung" sieht man nur "Anw".

Wenn man neu lädt, funktioniert es manchmal, manchmal nicht... sehr eigenartig. Am Desktop ist alles einwandfrei.

Kann ich es irgendwie erzwingen?

Schon mal mit "word-wrap:break-word;" experimentiert?
 
Nein, scheint aber auch eher um längere Wörter dabei zu gehen.

Bei mir geht auch ein "ich" nur bis "i" und der Rest ist unsichtbar hinterm Seitenrand...
