Zumal man zusätzlich zu den 10t auch noch jeweils 10,00 Euro pro Domain vorab zahlen muss.
Hab das unter diesem Aspekt aber nie wirklich betrachtet. Ich werde mir also alles nochmals genauer überlegen müssen.

Ich nicht. Sie wird nicht mal der de, net und org das Wasser abgraben meine ich. Wie die info wird sie einfach letztlich in spekulativen/defensiven Regs ersticken. Regs der Top-Keys sind wie immer wichtig. Die zweitklassigen Keys (wie bei der Info) werden im Handel letztlich ganz bescheiden daher kommen. Wichtig ist eher das spekulative Fieber unmittelbar nach der Erstvergabe abzufangen. Sobald die EUphorie verfliegt, wird es ähnlich wie bei der info im Handel aussehen. Die Info verstehe ich am ehesten von der dot eu bedroht, da ich vermute, daß Speculators am ehesten die info und biz für eine eu austauschen dürften, um ihre Inventare schlank zu halten bzw. nicht mit Reregs übermäßig erschlagen zu werden. CNO/DE/AT/CH werden sie jedoch überwiegend versuchen zu halten.

Natürlich werden die nationalen Domains aber weiterhin Ihre Berechtigung haben.

*Puh* Gut zu hören. Und ich dachte schon die schaffen die Dinger nach der dot eu ab.

Bzgl. Registrarbewerbung:
Habe das eben so verstanden, dass die für jede Domain extra 10 Euro Vorkassen wollen. Denk mal an die großen Registrare, da sind die 10k eh ratzfatz aufgebraucht und dann ?

Diese Antwort kam heute von EuroDNS auf die Frage, ob man bei fehlgeschlagener Registrierung sein Geld wieder kriegt:

"Repayments
By paying for your application now you are establishing your priorities for EuroDNS's submission of you application to the Registry.
The amount you are paying covers two type of fees :
. Registration fee : The registration of each '.eu' domain applied for, for a period of 12 months, or longer.
. Validation fee : This fee covers validating your application for participation in the appropriate sunrise period.
In the event the Registrant decides not to proceed with the application for a given Domain Name when the registrant terms and conditions are published and the full rules for Sunrise are known, 100% of the amounts paid will be credited to your account for use against any other EuroDNS service.
If the application has already been submitted to the Registry, but validation does not take place due to an earlier application being successful, the Registry will in some cases refund the application fee less an administration charge, usually 15 ?.
In the case where your request was examined by the registry and was rejected, the registry will retain the validation fee. Only the registration fee (18 ?) will be credited to your account.
The Applicant may request a refund of amounts credited to his account. In this case, EuroDNS will make this refund less 5% of the refund amount, with a minimum of 10 euros."

Danke für den Update.
Ich vermute einen Domain-Queue für Sunrise I/II Domains zu starten,
dürfte für den Großteil der letztlichen "Registrare" eher uninteressant sein.
Beim "Landrush" dürfte der Teufel los sein, um die noch verbleibenden
brauchbaren Domains nach Sunrise abzustauben. Da gibt es auch
keine "Validation Fee", sondern lediglich die "Registration Fee" (Euro 10?)
des "Registrars" an EUrid wie ich es verstehe.

Geht ja noch. 5% ist fair denke ich.
