Ich bin mal so frei:
4. Who can register a .Pro domain name?
At this time, only members of the medical, legal, accounting and engineering professions, licensed in the United States, Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom, are eligible to register .Pro domains. It is the responsibility of the registrant to provide truthful and accurate information about their professional status when registering a .Pro domain name.
The .Pro professional eligibility requirements are intended to restrict domain name registrations to persons and organizations that are licensed or otherwise credentialed by the appropriate government agencies or organizations to provide professional services to the public in the legal, medical, accounting and engineering fields.
Ausführlicher nachzulesen zum Beispiel hier:
http://www.icann.org/tlds/agreements/pro/registry-agmt-appl-03mar02.htm
Fazit: Eine Domain, die jährlich im allergünstigsten Fall 14x so viel kostet wie eine .com, die keiner kennt und keiner braucht.
Noch ein Zitat vom dnjournal:
"...the registrar has slashed the first year registration fee to $49 through March 31.
After that time, the fee will be $99 which will also be the annual renewal fee..."
Gruss,
